OVERVIEW
Parents are our best asset
At Beaconhouse Sri Inai we value the relationship we have with our parents and recognise that education is a partnership. Communication with parents is a high priority and there are regular opportunities for parents to meet with us.
All students and parents are connected to school and their teachers via ClassDojo. An easy to use app which can be accessed via your phone and from which you can see updates on the day’s activities, communicate directly with the homeroom teacher, subject teacher or a member of the senior leadership team. Students are able to see details of the lessons and of any homework set.
During the academic year, parents will be invited to attend a bimonthly Coffee Morning where they can hear about the future plans and events, discuss any issues raised and offer their thoughts and ideas for the betterment of the students. The first meeting of the year will outline the expectations for the year, the curriculum and the administrative aspects of the day to day experience for the students.
Academic progress is reported on 6 times a year with parents joining PTM meetings 3 times a year. We run an open door policy so at other times parents may pop by to discuss an issue or to get information or advice on their child’s progress.
Parents are invited to join us for events and will often support the students in a variety of ways. We welcome their support and loyalty throughout the year.
